You should place a beermat or similar on top of the glass in future, let's staff know you aren't done with it.

He has to lay something that he is carrying with him on the table, a set of house keys etc., a jacket in the wintertime. If not how are they supposed to know whether he is still there or not? They have other paying customers coming in to worry about also.

Long story short, after food and many beers while my buddy was in the washroom the girl came and took away his beer which was clearly not empty.

Where were you when all this happened?

lol at the other reply. I was standing next to the pool table fiddling with my phone. Didn't know I was supposed to be on beer lookout.

uh you know that most waiters/waitresses make min. wage and live off tips

i understand rude service but maybe you went about it in the wrong way

i live by the motto, "don't F w/people who handle your food" you saying F-them seems to sum up your attitude

why not give them another chance and explain what happened last time...politely perhaps?

Any staff member with an IQ beyond double figures should know the *remaining beer in the glass* on the table of a *person who hasn't yet paid the tab* means they aren't done with it. It's not rocket science and barring borderline retardation is an inexcusable action for a waiter/waitress in a bar.

I would have never thought that you would judge IQ on something like that.

You mean to tell me when you were in high school you were never ushered into a room with a few half-empty beer glasses to see how you'd react?
