This time it's the Presidential Spokesperson.

http://koreatimes.co.kr/www/news/nation/2013/05/116_135447.html

Other prelim reports in the media are saying that he was drunk and shouting obscenities before copping a feel.

Blue house spokesman, turns the air blue!

I feel sorry for the girl, but still I think this is funny!

I'm sure she'll be getting a little white envelope in the post soon!

Oh please... this has nothing to do with him being Korean. Copping a feel of some irresistible booty is a crime men over the world have been committing since the invention of the erection.

Add to that, he was punished for his actions. You Korea haters on Dave's make me laugh. No matter what the fallout from this, you'd find a way to complain.

its got nothing to do with hating koreans. As we keep having forced down our throats here and told to comply to random, convenient (and sometimes made up) traditions, its about respecting other peoples culture.
In the west, were told not to treat women like pieces of meat that are there to please us at our whim. If we dont respect that, criminal charges may be brought against us. To go to another country and behave like that in his, public position is unacceptable. Its a complete disregard for that nations culture and laws.

But most men from other countries ask before grabbing that booty. Adjussies grab first and pay later.

Many...most...are quick to jump on the bandwagon and condemn someone at the slightest provocation of alleged allegations...
it could be YOU getting jammed up over something seemingly innocent!
You know as well as I do that you'd HATE it if someone started slinging crap about you!
Still...I would not jump on the bandwagon and condemn this guy or anyone until all the facts are known.
Wait until we hear from both sides...his, hers and then the truth!
Always, always..three sides to every story....yours, theirs and the truth!

Criminal charges will be brought, unless you're rich or famous or have connections, then you can get away with it.

Pretty dumb of this guy though.

Its not a disregard, its a total ignorance of.

Its not like the guy underwent some etiquette course whereby it was explained to him that in the US you can't just feel up some subordinate female.

Most Koreans of his generation are completely ignorant of how the world outside of Korea operates. They just assume everything is the same like in Korea.

I bet the entire entourage eats wth their mouth open, shouts at waitresses and sneeze in eachothers faces.

Oh so this is very un-American behavior then is it? How about Bill Clinton using his position of power to get blowies from an intern? How about Anthony Weiner (sp?) sending lude pictures and having it posted on twitter? How about the slew of other politicians that have done horrible things to their wives, like leave them and cheat on them when they get cancer? How about the fact that in the US army, women are more likely to be sexually assaulted by a fellow officer than killed in combat?

Another poster says that only in Korea do men take the booty BEFORE asking. That kind of stupidity astounds me. You are really grasping at straws, because this is NOT a result of him being Korean.

You might have something to gripe about if Korea turned a blind eye to it, but they didn't. He was promptly fired and that shows that they don't condone this type of behavior among their politicians either.

Haters gonna hate, but you all look very foolish and off-base in your criticisms.

I'm guessing you've never ridden the subway with a female. Groping is a far bigger issue in Korea than it is in the States, without question. This isn't an issue of haters versus apologists, it's one of basic observation skills.

I would like to point out that all of the examples used in this example of politicians gone wild are Democrats. The poster failed to mention that such behavior is a resume enhancer for the Democrats, however.
