Today I listened to Linkin Park , Green Day , and The Roots .

^ Yeah Macklemore is alright, I prefer electro/house music. Even dance mixes from guys like DJ Blend seem to do the trick for me.

Just finished listening to the Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" on the subway, an utterly amazing album, no matter how many times you listen to it. I can see how its #2 on Rolling Stones top 500 albums of all time after Sgt Pepper.

Also doing complete re-listening of Springsteen's "Born to Run" and "Darkness on the Edge of Town" as I work through last years Springsteen biography. That has helped me put both of those albums into context
