My neighbour and I in disagreement over yesterday's yellow dust fallout.
I say they are pollens or something from from flowers.
He says they are pollution from Chinese Evil Empire.

Anyone have facts on this matter?

It's pollen. This happens every year and my allergies go crazy. Also, look at this http://www.korea.amedd.army.mil/webapp/yellowSand/Default.asp Tell your neighbor sorry, can't blame China for Korea's tree pollen.

Yes, they are pollen from Korean pine trees. Although pines are not strictly flowering plants, they are still called pollen.
