Hi,

I arrived in Korea about 2 months ago with an E-2 visa, working for a public school in Cheonan. I'm very happy with my job, co-teachers, and housing. My husband is coming to Korea with an F-4 visa but he's not going to be teaching. My question is what type of part time jobs are available for him? He's half Korean but he doesn't speak Korean.

It depends on his qualifications and experience, legally he can do any job. However without Korean and in your area he maybe limited to bar work and teaching.

2. At the end of my contract, can I apply for an F visa and what are the benefits of changing my visa status? Should I just renew my E-2 contract with my school since I'm in my ideal job?

IF he is on an F4 then your options are E2 or F1. You cannot work on an F1.
