Does anyone know of any hotels in Bundang that are not super expensive and not "love hotels"?? I am looking for a place for my mother to stay while she is here. |

Chorim Hotel, near Sunae Station. 50,000 per night. Don't know if there is anything cheaper than that.
It's across the street from the Subway sandwich shop.

Thanks,
That is right near my home. I saw it the other day but I thought it was a love hotel. If anyone knows of anything else, please let me know. |

I think the Cyberfantastic is a really great hotel in Bundang. It might technically be a love hotel, but it's really classy and I've never heard any "happenings" while being there...from other rooms at least. ha ha.
Do a search with the name and you'll find directions, etc. It really had 1st class rooms, a whirlpool tub, couch, etc for 50-80,000 a night. I know my mom would think it was nice, and if you didn't say it was a love hotel, no one would know. My opinion, at least.
You could go check it out for yourself and see what you think. It's the nicest hotel I've been in here.

Is the Cyberfantastic near Jeongja Station in that little strip of love hotels? If not - where is it? |

Yes, Jeonja station. Your mum might think it weird why her hotel room has a very small window but that's the only giveaway it's technically a 'love-hotel.' Also, of course, there's no restaurant, bar or other 'services.'
I don't know of a regular hotel in Bundang as it's totally not a tourist destination. Businessmen go there so there must be some. |

Are any of those love hotels near Jeongja cheaper than 50000? Also, can you check in before 10 and still get the cheap price at any of them?? What would it cost for a couple days? |

I don't think the regular 'one-night' price is less than 50,000 in any of those places. However, if you go and negotiate on behalf of your mum for an extended stay they might give you a deal.
Be aware that they like to rent out rooms for 2 hours, for couples after a 'quickie', so your mum occupying a room day and night will not be attractive to the busy ones like Joatel or CF. Try Novios. Same area. They're not so busy and have very nice 'conventional' rooms. |

I didn't know that any of those ones had conventional rooms. I just don't want my mom to think she's walked into a porno movie, although she would probably find it funny. |

If you're sure your mum will find the nature of these places funny then they are the only choice. They're 50 meters from the subway. Superb value. And actually, they are very clean and classy. Despite what they are used for.
You know, most of the clientele are respectable young professionals who just want somewhere luxurious for a night. They are definitely not seedy.
I've been to all those Jeonja station hotels many times. I've never once thought them to be sleezy. The opposite in fact. You would pay 4 times more in a regular hotel to even come close to what they offer. I think Novios would suit your mum best. |

I've tried the Joatel II. It is really classy, but totally porno classy!!! I would send my mom there if it was cheaper. If the cheapest I can find is 50000, I'll send her to a love hotel, but I have found other really nice hotels (outside of Bundang) for 30000. If such a place in Bundang exists, I would like to find it. |

You could go into Suji. Bus #720 and #11 I think. No subway.
Punduckchon-dong has very cheap hotels right in the center of Suji.

*big bump*
So I have to leave my apartment and live in a love motel for a few days. I thought about going to Yeoksam for something swanky, but after looking at http://www.hotel365.co.kr/ and www.hotelfind.co.kr, I realize I can't afford that.
So are there any nice love hotels in Jeongja around 30,000 - 50,000 a night? I'm going to do some legwork in a few days, but I'd like to learn the names of places before I go. Unfortunately it'll be on the weekend when I stay there, but do you think that will take the price up? Any help'd be appreciated. |

If you stay at the Neotel at Jeongja station and you're put into a room on the 3rd floor you can probably look into my windows as I live just next door. But that's not important...
I don't think any of the hotels around here are sleezy. Yes, they're love motels, but they don't look bad or trashy at all. Can't be too bad if all the guys that drive BMWs or Audis take their night time girlfriends there. |
