I don't think they are even trying to be funny -
Racist, sexist, prejudiced and very much retarded - these singers should star in some MBC video, they seem to fit the bill. |

I'm in the land of the free, surrounded by Asians, and this is the first I'm hearing of it, so I'm not sure if it's getting that much press.
That said, it's pretty cringe inducing. Is this not a parody? I'm generally non-PC asshole number one, but jeeze. |

| I don't think its that bad. It seems to be done in that whole "Chappelle Show" Family Guy extreme over the top and obviously ridiculous style. You get a sense that it's almost more making fun of themselves than anything racist. |

It's odd when I'm taking this stance against you, but...I just watched this with my roommate (Korean) and he said they should do one for every race. Can you imagine if a crew of white dudes doing a song about black girls involving fried chicken and watermelon? They wouldn't dare. When it comes to Asians, I feel like white American culture looks at them as fair game, as that's their price of admission. We'll let you into the club, but don't pretend that you're full members. Maybe I'm taking such a godawful song a bit too seriously though.
And if they're trying to be funny, it's simply not funny. In order for it to be truly funny, both parties should really be in on the joke. |

Agreed. I don't think this is any worse than calling Canadians beer drinking, beaver thumping hockey nuts. And I think racism isn't what you say it's the sentiment behind the statement which makes it racist or not. Stupid yes, racist no.
That being said, they should be imprisoned for such bad bad music. |

I think it's racist. Just like if they were to make a video for Blacks singing about fried chicken, watermelon, and kool aid.
We have to be fair. Just because they're Asian and aren't going to stage protests nationwide every time something doesn't go their way doesn't mean they don't matter as much. This kind of video against Blacks would be racist in America therefore it IS racist if it happens to be about Asians. |

This is sad. I am starting to realize that the biggest BO imitators have no views of their own on big issues. They debate just for the sake of debating (usually defending the more controversial side, since that leads to more responses) - which is why their debate tactics are usually so apparent and easy define. |

What if a Korean boy band did a song called "White girls"? I can imagine people here getting bent out of shape over that. And like people have mentioned above, "Black girls" sung by white dudes would not fly.
Whether it's racist or not comes down to your own opinion.
But the song is mind numbingly dumb and cringe worthy. |
