I am leaving Korea shortly. Is it possible to unlock and use a Korea-bought Galaxy S3 in the UK? I am on LG U+

I think you're out of luck, since LGU+ uses CDMA only. That said, if you can use roaming on it in the UK, it has a radio for WCDMA, and can work.
