PS3 version is available online for 75'000. That's from an importer, so I'm pretty sure it's the American version, though it seems odd that the American version would have Korean subtitle support (which it states it does.) Unless Rockstar just put it in every version?

Edit: I just looked it up, the North American version is the exact same as the Asian version and supports a bunch of languages. From Rockstar's site:

PlayStation®3 (Region-Free*):

This language breakdown applies to disc-based and digital download versions.

North America, Asia (Except Japan) – English, French, Brazilian Portuguese**, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Latin American Spanish
Europe, Middle East, Russia – English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese**, Polish
Japan – Japanese and English
Xbox 360:

Worldwide (Region-Free, including pre-order codes*) except for Japan – English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese**, Polish, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Latin American Spanish
Japan (Region-Locked to Japanese Xbox 360 Consoles) – Japanese and English

There have been reports of video problems with the downloaded version

I've heard nothing of the like. Frame rates aren't too high but that's all currently available reasons.

AFAIK all cut scenes are in-engine too, not video cut scenes. Could be wrong there though.

Count me in.

Haven't been on it much with the wife and me sharing a TV but just unlocked Trevor. Fine game.

Bought today for PS3. Got the last copy at 광화문 Hot Tracks! Very Happy I have been playing for about an hour and the game seems to be entirely in English.

I am a little scared though, because the guy said something about the intro/guide missions being in English, but later all text in Korean, Audio in English.

I turned on the subtitles though, and up till now it's all been in English. I can't even find an option for Korean subtitles. I will see how it goes later in game.....

Guess we're talking about the same thing, but you're using the wrong terminology. It's frame rate issues, there's no issue with any 'video' in the game.

I'm playing the digital version, mind, and it's playing just fine for me. Digital Foundry are nitpickers, it's what they do. Razz Sometimes it's helpful, sometimes not so much.

My girlfriend bought me the PS3 game from Yongsan.

It is the Korean game, in as much, as the box is all in Korean and the pull-out map has English with Korean as well.

As far as I can tell from playing the game with said girlfriend: If your PS3 system language is set to English then the subtitles/menus are in English but if you change the system language to Korean, then the subtitles/menus are in Korean.

My brother in law got me the Chinese version and same, it's all in English as my PS is set to English. The Blimp code doesn't work and the steps Rockstar wants me to do verify that it's real isn't worth the amount of time for something simple as piloting a blimp..

Get yourself an Asian PSN account and you can use the code. Just put some Hong Kong restaurant address in and sign up. Put in the code, download your DLC, sign out, sign back in with whichever account you usually use. I did it for an Asian code I had lying around.

Picked up a Korean copy for my American Xbox, and it works perfectly fine; moreover, everything is in English (no subtitles have popped up, but I haven't tried). Everything is in English.
