1.The expressions "my bad" or "fail"
2. The two finger 'victory' or 'peace' sign in photos
3. the expression "thanks for sharing"
4. #hashtag speak--#you sound #like an #idiot
5. Actually any of those: lol, lmfao, rotfl, etc. Just makes people sound uneducated.
6. I'm really not much of a facebook person; I find most everything about facebook irritating.

I have a bad cold right now, feeling kind of bitchy...

Fox, Schwa, and OP the irritable dinosaurs of Dave's so out of touch with reality and just want things to go back to the "good ol' days." Laughing

I like Fox and schwa (usually). Even though they are apologists with whom I don't always agree, they at least are able to cogently articulate their positions. And they have a lot of interesting things to say (while steering clear of banal personal attacks). Just my opinion.

It's one thing to be an apologist, it takes it to another level when you're so old reality no longer applies.

Steelrails at least will throw some knowledge about sports, pop culture, or whatever here and there which at least tells me he's a real person.

Listening to Ben Franklin (Fox) and Moses (Schwa) is like going to your grandparents house and hearing grandpa rant about how these "kids" don't appreciate a hard day's work before he has to go to the back and have his diaper changed. It's just sad to watch.

IPayInCash, so what if most Dave's posters are older.

With age and life experience comes wisdom.

Those people can teach us.

They are like gurus.

Yeah, I generally just skip over his posts, but the Benjamin Franklin line actually got a chuckle out of me when he threw it out the other day.

Also, is 31 really that old? Admittedly I cultivate a certain aged aesthetic, but still...

Simultaneously making fun of peace signs, hashtags and facebook.... are you a real person? Or are you simply a bot compiling a list of things that have been made fun of a million times already on the internet? Because if so, let's add "people wearing sunglasses indoors" to your list.

Nice try at scathing social commentary, sir, but Louis CK you are not.

OP is a dinosaur, but I do have to agree with parts of it.

The only exception is the 'V' for Victory. Of course, all those photos have to be black and whites and from the 1940s. Or iconic sports photos celebrating championship teams/athletes. Other than that, lame.

And 'Fail' is valid. People really do fail.

I have nothing against you and you seem like a pretty smart guy, but you do come across way older than 31.

Steelrails--
I'm talking about the moronic "V" that more or less every Korean seems to have to do in every photo...enough already

And me, a dinosaur?? That's pretty funny...Yes, I'm over 30; 35 to be exact--if that's a dinosaur then call me T-REX!! Very Happy
