Hello everyone! I just moved to Incheon over a month ago, and I am interested in taking a Korean language class in the evenings. I browsed through the forums, but a lot of the information seems to be a bit outdated. I want to get to level 4 by Fall of next year. Currently, I have been doing some self-studying with the Integrated Korean Series (Beginner 1). I would like to take a university program either at Ehwa, Sogang, Yonsei, or SNU, but I do not know what would work best if I want to work for a Korean company in the future. Has anyone taken any evening classes in these places recently? What do you recommend? Should I just get a private tutor?

Side note: I checked Ehwa's website and it seems they don't offer evening classes anymore. Is this true?

Thanks in advance!

BTW, you might find accessibility to either campus challenging depending on which side of Incheon you'd be starting from, especially if you commute from Incheon without driving.
Yonsei Uni might be relatively easier given 5-6 red bus routes connecting Sinchon and Incheon, no such luxury with SNU. It'll be heavily crowded Line 1 + Line 2 metro you'd be dealing with.

If you read previous posts on the topic, Sogang seems to get more recomendations than anywhere else. I can second that. I found their material and teaching methods to be very satisfactory. I've met Sogang students who studied Korean for 2 years who can speak better korean than Yonsei students who studied for 4 or 5 years. Of course their are individual differences, but generally the communicative approach taught at Sogang is more effective for most people compared to the grammar and vocab approach taught at Yeonsei.

PF, how many levels did you do at Sogang? Can you tell us more about that? By which level were you able to converse with others? Which level did you test into, etc.? Thanks.
