|
|
Hi. Ive checked but cant find anything specific to my situation.
I returned to the UK for 10 weeks to do some study. I had the D-10 before I left and entered Korea (last week) on that.
Do I need to re-submit the Police clearance to Kimmigration before a new E2 would be processed? Or would a local police check be sufficient?
Im going to Immigration tomorrow to ask there but I often find answers are specific to the person who you ask there.
Thanks |

Out of the country for more than 90 days = yes, you need one (immigration and MOE issue).
Out for less than 90 days then immigration won't need a new one.
Moving to a public school = yes, you need one (employer issue) regardless of how long you were employed in Korea or how long you were out of the country. No CBC = no job (Not a visa or MOE issue).
For a hagwon job = probably not since immigration won't care and neither will most hagwons as long as you can transfer back to an E2.

Whatever happened (and Im sorry to hear you got into trouble), Im pretty convinced Ttompatz (and others) usually help people on here with good intentions. He doesnt get paid for offering advice, nor does he have to invest his personal time answering any or the same repetitive queries.
He isnt a lawyer so you are in effect getting what you paid for.
Youre a big boy, if you want to ask someone their opinion and it doesnt work out for you, you should be prepared to take some responsibility for the repercussions. |

cheers Lucas.
Alot of people will be relieved to see that.
I noticed when I was back, the gov are talking about relaxing the restrictions as lot of people with money arent able to go to the UK and study anymore because of the red tape.
They just keeping going round and round... |
