| OK ... my wife somewhat reluctantly explained it to me. It's OK to do that stuff if you work in the private sector; even if you're in a high position with one of the big 3. It's not OK if you're employed by a government agency, which that particular tourism organization is (at least it's not OK to get caught) ... go figure - not really much different here from anywhere else ... |

I remember reading a news article about Korean politicians having their own secret brothel and that lobbyists had been covering all the expenses for years. |

this story makes no sense to me.
99% of all the Korean dudes I know, young and old, go to prostitution/happy ending type places quite frequently. Not only that, but their wives pretty much except it to happen. Seemingly, an affair isnt an affair here if one doesnt fall in love.
Then this story.. the outrage / shock is from... what? This kind of shit happens every 2 seconds in Korea |

There's been a few scandals in the media where a public official has been caught with his ... finger in the (paid for) pie.
As for your 99% number... well, that's yours. Out of the guys I hang with, I'd put that number a lot lower. |
