It shouldn't be a surprise anyway. Looking at the terrain of Han river basin, where I am (Yeuju) is the narrow end of a funnel. Wind from Great Loess plains of China picks up moisture from the Yellow Sea and dumps them.... here.
Early start to ski and board season! |

Weather forecasters say this winter will be especially cold. (It is supposed to be colder than last winter here.) |

Folk wisdom here says that a hotter than normal summer (which it was) portends a colder than usual winter. It snowed on Seoraksan a couple weeks ago. |

Admit it - you've been watching SNL Weekend update this weekend
Last winter was a puttycat - 2010/2011 was so cold, water pipes were frozen in several buildings, because the system wasn't planned for such low temps |

Another early sighting: free standing ice! Ice in November is unheard of around here. |

Bump.
Random Rambling:
I've been studying Philly Eagles coach Chip Kelly, because his methods seems to be 'Millenials' friendly. Anyway, WR Riley Cooper has been catching passes lately. Is that because Nick Foles is playing instead of Michael Vick? Or is there something else? Cooper got in trouble for uttering the N-word in the pre-season but what I'm wondering is: was Vick discriminating before? Was Vick intentionally not targeting Cooper? We'll never know, of course. It's not my style to be a Monday morning QB. However, I've played in enough games and lost because the guy with the ball passes to 'friends' first. Rant over. |

Something New:
it turns out that I am a 'cafeteria Catholic' because I pick and choose, from numerous Catholic doctrines, ones that I like. Here I thought I only had a fear of going to church. Hmmm. |
