| Our flight arrives in Bali at midnight. I'm told we need a $25.00 entry visa...I'm pretty sure we would be able to purchase it on arrival right, even though we arrive so late? Sounds like common sense but I'm not willing to gamble that the visa-issuing body won't be closed until the next morning. |

| I am pretty sure you can especially considering you're not the only one that will be wanting a visa on arrival when your plane arrives. Make sure you bring crisp fairly new unfolded US dollars to pay for the visa. Bring 10's, 5's, and 1's when you come. I don't think they accept anything else but US currency. If you don't have dollars then the extortion starts at the airport. |

| No problem - it will be open anytime a flight arrives. As mentioned bring new notes. Indonesian banks/moneychangers/government offices etc. are notorious for not accepting (or giving a significantly lowered rate) for old, dirty, marked, or sometimes even folded $. As for the Visa on Arrival counter - "No change, misterrrr" if you pay with a 50 or 100, even though the people before you all paid with smaller bills. Arriving at that time safely assume you're going to be raped on the taxi fare out of the airport. |
