It's a literal translation from Korean. You probably knew that, but just in case... |
How it came to be used has little to no bearing on how annoying it is. All of these phrases have some reason for being, usually a flawed, or literal, translation.
"My mind" is not a good translation of 내 마음 IMHO. I have never heard 마음 used in a way that resembles the definition of "mind" in English. 마음 would be better translated as "feeling", "sentiment", "belief", or perhaps "opinion". |
