I'm not having any luck getting my Shinhan Mastercard Check card to work with PSN. Do any Playstation gamers have any suggestions?

I have a 3 month subscription to Playstation plus and I would like to figure out how to use the playstation store and to continue my subscriptions before they expire.

I bought my PS4 in Canada if that matters. When I initially set it up I used my Canadian address information.

Thanks

Korean PSN?

AFAIK if you have a Canadian PSN account then you need to use a Canadian bank account. Korean PSN - Korean card etc. This was how it worked for me many years ago on the PS3.

Looking at the Korean PS Store, it looks like it's slim pickings on the games front for PS4 at the moment.

The two best bets I can think of are:

1. Open a Paypal account using your Korean cc. Fund your PSN wallet through that account.

2. Order PSN cards through a place like playasia and fund your PSN wallet through prepaid cards.

this is 100% the easiest way, even though you pay an extra $3 or so.

even easier is buying digital PSN gift cards from amazon. that way you don't have to wait for shipping.
