I had heard of SMOE, EPIK, and others demanding one. Just curious to know if any are strict with it. It's quite difficult out here in the provinces to take an in class TESOL. Which is what I was wondering about. |

Nearly all public school roles now request teachers have a TESOL, TEFL etc. However Hagwons don't require one. |

There is no such thing as a TESOL or TEFL. Those are acronyms for activities: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). |
