aww byrddung. it's okay man. if you want you can tell me to not make you feel bad today. |
Nice use of the little emoticons over there for affect. You are cool, wishfulthinkng (sorry, wait a minute...... had to ROFL while I typed that name). It's pretty funny just reading it, but when you actually type it out, it is hilarious. Great work, high five! |

These phone companies aren't stupid. Go to LG tell them you want to use their services or whatever. They will pull you up on the computer and you most likely will have to finish off the contract with maybe a small penalty (if even that). They are in the business of making money and they will want your business. |

until byrddung derailed the thread with his tantrum troglodyte had mentioned that immigration won't care about your due bill. while that might be true, almost everything here is linked to your national id number on your arc/visa, including your phone setup, so any due bills will always follow you here. if you got a new arc number however i don't think they'd be able to find you, but i honestly don't know what the rules are about reassigning the same number when someone comes back a second time.
you should still probably just go and pay it in full just to make sure. |

You are right, troglodyte gave good information after you posted your typical condescending BS. Now that you have been exposed, you are actually trying to help. Whatever makes you feel better, bud. |

byrddogs and wishfullthinkng, what happened to you guys? You used to be the best of friends. Frolicking through the forum happily agreeing with and complimenting each other. Now, it's all gone straight to hell. |

i actually have no idea. one day last month he just started being a complete @ss to me on multiple threads. then it just kinda spiraled down from there. i never start these stupid arguments for the record though, it's always him picking fights. he just seems to always want to cause trouble. i guess some men just want to watch the forums burn.
i rather prefer the frolicking and complimenting myself. |

This thread has been somewhat derailed but, to get back to the topic, I think that the debt will be attached to your visa number and as soon as you get back on the grid (internet, phone, cable, possibly even employment) then the debt will follow you. I know a guy who forgot to cancel his Olleh internet before he left and landed with a bill when he came back a year later. |

When you arrive at the airport, they will escort you to the little office for interrogation. You left without paying your bill. Have the 500 ready to take downstairs to the phone shop. |

The OP "didn't feel like paying his bill" so he took off, and then says he doesn't care about the inevitable flames that this thread will invite. He then says he has an F-4, and so my hunch says he's of the vermin known as the Southern California gyopo.

1 reason I and other non-rooted in korea land cant get credit cards atm cards that work overseas and apartment deals is cuz of come debt and go guys like you. i bet if you try to get a bank or internet service they may have a credit check that say ur a debt ditch kid. but maybe like they say other phone companies will not bother. i paid all my bills last time i left. now i come back and they dont bother me. why not call ur mom uncle or granny here and tell her to pay it for u? |

Expats have it tough in Korea because Korea is Korea...end of story. |

So that justifies running off without paying your bills or obligations? Uh, NO NO NO. |
