I'm pleasantly surprised. The young generation of Koreans I encounter nowadays lack much of the xenophobia of the 40 - 60-something crowd. There is less of the hostility and less wonderment at anything foreign. Their attitudes are a bit more positive, global and relaxed. Occasionally you will get the lone loser who is clearly uncomfortable with the foreigner being with a Korean woman ..but that's so much more of a rare thing than with the older crowd.
Visiting the UK recently, british youngsters seem a bit better adjusted than before. Less into the self destructive drugs and alcohol. I don't hang out with people half my age, but its just an impression.
Then looking at the Olympics, all the young athletes seem to be associating with such a good spirit. Encouraging eachother and just enjoying the moment. 20 years ago by contrast athletes took themselves waaay too seriously.
Maybe its the internet and the global connectivity people feel nowadays. |

So you like being lied to. Ok I understand.
I prefer the honesty of the older generation. At least I know what they really think. |

Yeah, it's a mixed bag just like with the older generation actually. Some of the kindest people I've met here have been older. |

The old Korean generation who slaved away because they had to for putting food on the table vs. the new Korean generation who volunteer to be treated likes slaves for their 10 minutes of fame.
New generation: more lazy, more spoiled, contempt for elders and more clueless about the world moving around them.
There are some cool ones out there but I've only met them through my hobby. In general; see above. |

70% "dislikes foreigners coming in to their country" yet they flock in droves to America and abroad ALL the time to live and go to school? F them and their double standard BS. Idiots. |
