It's great that they crowdsourced the funding. I think most people in Korea know about this--it's been in the news a bit.
I bet most reviewers will give it three stars. |

I'm not sure how much validity there is to his claims, correlation vs. causation and all that, but if he really did turn down a million bucks to fight for justice, then hats off to him. |

I remember reading an article comparing advertising expenditures here in Korea. Samsung was bigger than the rest of the top 10 combined. It's no one few media outlets try to take it on. |

You'd have an easier time taking on the Korean gov't than taking on Samsung. |

Just a little follow up.

Samsung allegedly pressures Korean newspaper to kill coverage of anti-Samsung film
The president of an online newspaper in South Korea allegedly ordered editors to take down an article about the anti-Samsung film Another Promise, then sent apologetic text messages intended for Samsung executives who had apparently complained about the paper’s coverage. But the texts from NewDaily Biz’s president, Park Jung-kyu, were accidentally sent to journalists at fellow South Korean publication Pressian, which then published them with names redacted. The texts suggest that NewDaily Biz killed the article about Another Promise under pressure from Samsung. Samsung denies pressuring the publication. |
