Eleven persons were injured in what is being called an "explosion" at a station near Gunpo.

You cannot watch the news without witnessing another "accident" in SK.

I think you'd know by now that the aim of the contemporary news is to make the audience annoyed, agitated, and angry. I'd say start watching 'magazine' style news, that is the news that are about a week old and have been 'processed', those are much saner. Laughing

Thats true, news editors like to make mileage out of any current event.

In reality there are any number of subway incidents on a daily basis. They only get reported if they compliment a particular theme.

I don't think this is the kind of international attention the Korean government wants from its soft power push.

It could be the latest K--K-safety.

In my opinion, this incident appears to be better covered in the foreign media. Is the Korean press busy covering the President's big speech now?
