Back in 2003 I was living in Seoul and got to attend the 2003 Div III championships. South Korea sure has come a long way since then.
Having said that they have never been in a group this tough before. Even on home ice I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up winless. Beating Hungary in their first game is crucial.
Anyone going to the games in Goyang?

They lost to both Hungary and Slovenia to go 0-2. |

Korea ended up going winless he whole tournament. Apparently a new coach ( a Canadian) is supposed to be coming in for the men (the women already have one) but had prior commitments in Europe and was unable to be at the tourney. So, the current coach didn't give a rats ass as he knew they were cleaning house. |

It is too bad they decided to host this year. They will do much better in next years tournament now that have dropped back down a division. |
