That's what my wife and I did. We just got married on paper and took some photos for my visa applications and that was it. She hated wedding halls and I hated them too, so we were like eff that. We'll have a wedding ceremony when we go back to the States. We paid about $1700 for pictures though. I feel like they should have paid us the money because of the 9 hours being a "model." |

We paid around 30,000,000 won for our package.
That included the ceremony, 300 guests buffet, photos and all the little things that add up. We just paid the money upfront and let the planner arrange everything. |

Wow, I think all future folks should buy a good digital camera and get a friend to take the pics of you instead. I suggest going out around the countryside in early October taking pics with scenic clear backgrounds decked out in your wedding clothes (Western and Korean). I would do this standing in the middle of a yellow rice field surrounded by mountains. Just my creative thinking. Ha ha.
Wow! 30 million won? Ouch. Hope your marriage is happy anyways. |

| There are lots of different packages you can do. We chose not to have a full on ceremony as we had already done the paperwork six months earlier. So we did the paebaek ceremony dressed in hanbok and then a reception with food. |
