Has anyone attempted to copywrite their music in Korea? If anyone could give me some tips on how to do so, I would be very grateful.

Well, any recording is copyrighted by its existence.

You can use BMI/ASCAP for publishing/performance rights. You can check their site or Google to see in which countries they collect fees.
