I have books stacked up, both paper and from kindle, that will keep me busy for quite some time.
However, I am always on the look out for some stimulating reading...especially on political theory.
Anyone wish to share? |

I read Esio Trot yesterday.
Very thought provoking story about an intelligent, working class mans struggle to overcome the social boundaries inflicted on him by his generation, and the lengths he will go to to achieve his desires. |

| eslcafe and waygook - every day you get to read masterfully written and well researched works/debates. War and Peace has nothing on what you can find here. |

Indeed. It is like a tabloid rag, where everyone is qualified in the scholarly approach to debate, articulation, and forming a well written precis surrounding a narrative, whilst, not degenerating into character and grammar attacks.
I admit...I have yet to read War and Peace. |

Not about political theory per se, but the last great political book I read was called The Unwinding, by George Packer. Highly recommended, esp if you're American and/or are interested in how American social institutions have broken down over the past few decades.
In a similar vein, Bowling Alone by Robert Putnam is a classic you should check out if you haven't already read it. |
