1. Is it my imagination, or is there a fair amount of Korean girls walking around these days with ample racks? Never used to be the case. There is still a long way to go, but this is a major improvement. Breast sizes are growing. Keep up the good work ladies.

2. Fatties. There is not an insignificant amount of fat teen and twenty something Koreans roaming around. Next time you are out and about, pay close attention. Shocking really for anyone who has been here for a while.

3. Tattoos. Tattoos have caught on here . But damn there is some awful ink; just really unprofessional, blotchy, miscolored, confusing looking tattoos.

4. Korean guys dressing fruitier than ever. More power to them and dress however you like, but don't be a fashion victim. If a young Korean gal is into more rugged, non-feminine looking guys, pickings will be slim for her.

I don't know about 4 but I've also noticed more of 1-3.

Perhaps the big boobs are a result of the mid-90's push on giving their children plenty of milk?

Seem like accurate observations.

Fatties will continue to increase as the food supply becomes more "modern", we've seen this for the last 100+ years all over the world, hardly shocking. It actually shocks me they are still so thin. But yeah the younger generation will be the ones plumping up, the younger generation becomes the older generation, and soon they will all be fat.

k-pop/ drama influence.

ten years ago you only ever saw Korean men in formal drab brown or black pants, smart shoes and a freshly ironed shirt.

Trainer usage arrived about 3 years ago and now it is not uncommon to see ajosshis wearing sneakers with their dress pants.

Don't worry there are still a majority of bawling drunken cavemen types. And K-guys have started going to the gym! a few years ago all they ever did was smoke and shuffle around.

Just got into Seoul this afternoon at the COEX and yes the girls are quite bosomous. Everywhere I see jiggly-jiggly-bouncy-bouncy.

About the men: Diamonds aren't a girls best friend, the gays are.

Bigger racks around maybe but beware of false advertising. Some serious padding/push up going on too!

(Not to mention fakes... I've "encountered" at least 3 pairs here.)

Also, the fashion now is tighter and showier than before, so whatever subtle curves they had before were not really too visible.

As for the young ones, yes agreed that many are quite chubby. Rice, noodles, milk, snacks, McDonalds, and smart phone game addiction. Not a good combination.

I've begun to suspect that a certain portion of the Korean population has phenomenal genetics re: digestion. Or at least are just better adjusted to eating rice...surprising no one I suppose.

My school, for whatever reason, dishes out especially mammoth portions at lunch, and I watch the students, the teachers, and myself eat the exact same pile of rice, regardless of gender, size, or age. And almost universally trays are scraped clean. Yet if I don't exercise every day I would gain weight from this, while the female teachers, only 1 or two of whom I'm aware exercise regularly, retain a trim frame.

They might be bulimic, or liars, or only eat 1 meal a day, but it does seem like a decent portion of them have been endowed with god-tier metabolism. That or tapeworms abound.

Re: the heavyset, while I'm not surprised it's increasing with the changing diets here, but I wonder how many people of that size you remark on might be gyopos. Just that most of the gyopos I know are pretty easily picked out of a group based on being larger, usually not obese (though I know 1 or 2) but noticeably rounder (certainly not something I have a problem with, just an observation from my own experience).

Also,

Pretty sure he's ribbing another poster's posting style.

-----

On topic, I had been noticing that booties were becoming a bit more ample in a general sense. I had some suspicions that maybe these bootiful ladies were using butt pads to enhance their derrieres, and this was confirmed when I saw a butt pad on display at some undergarment store.

I was disappointed by this discovery of flat ass trickery.
