In order to hide the water stains in the apartment I moved into, can anyone recommend a place in the Seoul area to buy some decent posters, decorations?

Don't buy anything. Instead, ask your students' parents for anything they might recommend. Watch the stuff roll in free of charge. In 1996, I had some adult students that all brought me something for my apt. I got everything from a 2nd hand Sony TV to dishes. Lot's of free stuff out there if you just ask. Cheers.

Music stores have free posters but uh, unless you want some topless Kpop dudes or sexy but possible underage kpop girl group posters, best bet is Kinkos.

Get a can of spray paint. That stuff is dirt cheap in Korea. 3000 won last time I bought one.

My colleague in 2006 told her students it was her birthday. It wasn't. They(6 year olds) all came running into the break room to give her gifts. Her eyes kept opening wider and wider, gift after gift.

Thanks for the advice. But, that might produce results I may seriously regret.
