I've had back pain for as long as I can remember. Recently it's gotten worse. I thought I'd try acupuncture, which I've always been curious about anyway.

Can anyone recommend a decent, affordable acupuncturist? Preferably one who speaks a bit of English?

(And if people think it's a sham, please feel free to voice your opinion.)

Thank you. They speak some English? And what is the price for something like this? I have no idea...

One lady does. I think that a treatment (with insurance) would be between 6 - 12,000 won?? I haven't been there in years.

I've tried acupuncture (and cupping, and heat, and ...) probably 20+ times since I've lived here.

I blew out my back 10+ years ago, and suffered with it for a decade. I had hoped that acupuncture wold help - but it never did. I never felt anything beyond what I'd have felt lying on a bed for 20-30 mins.

Every time I'd tell a Korean that, they'd tell me I went to a "bad doctor", and suggest another - rinse, repeat.

Never once did I walk out of a session, or think after a week of sessions - "well, that made a big difference!!"
