|
|
Obama is currently in Australia and he just made a speech stating that we are going to start our buildup of American troops in the Philippines. Our involvement in Asian waters is going to be decisive during the 21st century.
This is happening because the Chinese have become increasingly hostile towards Japan, and their neighbors in SE Asia. There have been disputes with the Chinese and Vietnamize/Philippines in recent years.
The Chinese had better tread carefully. Yes, they are a superpower but they can't match American might. We have them beat militerally and economically.
Russia had better watch out also. They are a shell of their former selves.
I wouldn't want to be a teacher in China.

Beware of friends with guns.
The American Hegemony is coming soon to a land near you.
Re-conquering and occupying the Philippines is but the first step.

American might? American might not...
What frightened the USS Donald Cook so much in the Black Sea?
http://www.voltairenet.org/article185860.html
As the Russian jet approached the US vessel, the electronic device disabled all radars, control circuits, systems, information transmission, etc. on board the US destroyer. In other words, the all-powerful Aegis system, now hooked up - or about to be - with the defense systems installed on NATO’s most modern ships was shut down, as turning off the TV set with the remote control.
The Russian Su-24 then simulated a missile attack against the USS Donald Cook, which was left literally deaf and blind. As if carrying out a training exercise, the Russian aircraft - unarmed - repeated the same maneuver 12 times before flying away.
After that, the 4th generation destroyer immediately set sail towards a port in Romania.
Since that incident, which the Atlanticist media have carefully covered up despite the widespread reactions sparked among defense industry experts, no US ship has ever approached Russian territorial waters again.
According to some specialized media, 27 sailors from the USS Donald Cook requested to be relieved from active service.
Vladimir Balybine - director of the research center on electronic warfare and the evaluation of so-called "visibility reduction" techniques attached to the Russian Air Force Academy - made the following comment:
"The more a radio-electronic system is complex, the easier it is to disable it through the use of electronic warfare."

Who is we? I'm American and I'm not on your "team."

187% absolute bullshit
Why would a crew be "demoralized"? We are not at war. It is generally considered bad to blow unarmed aircraft out of the sky. Hundreds of US warships have been overflown by SU/FSU aircraft. Not one sailor was ever demoralized.
Here's the evidence dumb-ass:

China has the money and the man power. Just not the expertise and they're lagging behind in the technology department, but likely not for long.
USA has a lot more to lose. Thy have a higher standard of living. If Chinese cities look anything like Korean cities, a bombing campaign could be a beautification program.

Part of the reason Korean cities are concrete monstrosities, and not say, wooden houses of yore is because of their unsuitability for a bombing campaign. Japanese houses of wood and paper just went up in flames during WWII. People learned from that.

And that USS Donald Cook story is bull. |

It's funny when people tell me that the west builds things like shit because we make things out of wood. Here, they use concrete and bricks.
Except for the fact that buildings here have an average life span of 10-15 years and many houses back home are 100+ years old and in better condition than many 5 year old buildings here.

Yes, China and the US are on a collision course.
Thats why theres a military base going up in Jeju now.
But, you know what? I wouldn't be so sure the US will win.
China and Russia are much stronger than you claim. Russia in particular is a sleeping giant, economically.
China has more technology and man power than people realize. I'd say the US last remaining chance is flexing military muscle, once the economy officially collapses (as it almost did in 2008, only saved by bailouts that were essentially borrowed from China.) But at that time, I'm not convinced the US will have a Cakewalk. That's not what happened in Vietnam, Iraq, or Afghanistan.
History warns against underestimating these situations.
So, basically no, China's not nervous.
I'd guess Obama is though. |
