Threads focusing on religion are not permitted. Attempts to start or promote such threads, including resurrecting inactive religion threads, will be followed by sanctions.

Because Korea is chock full of every religious nut-job, his brother and 25 cousins. You got your chicken god cults, your Moonie-Loonies, and about a six dozen other cult groups all over the place, and then you have the die-hard atheists.

The mods rightly decided it was too god damn difficult to monitor these threads. So pack it up and head over to your denomination's website to talk about religion.

This has been a public service message.

DBB out.

You can find websites about many topics that are discussed at Dave's, why not ban all of those topics and go to sites about them?????

You see, there are many things that could be very interesting and educational topics to discuss on such a thread. But, I am not going to break the rule and talk about it. I just wanted to ask the question why? So, I will not post more on this thread. I will just wait and see if some day this stupid rule is removed. Then, let's talk.

CU.

You know, someone should start a sock account and throw up a thread on religion and see if the mods are still out there. I say the over/under for this thread would be 2 weeks before it got spotted and taken down.

When I set out for a quart of milk at the 7-eleven, I'm not just running an errand, I'm starting a trek across the Serengeti, I'm reforging the silk road from Europe to Asia, I'm racing across the Empty Quarter of Saudi Arabia trying to beat the Land Rover record of 10 hrs across that big sand dune. What do you do when you go out for a quart of milk?

Perhaps questions about religion threads, like many questions about religions themselves, are unanswerable. Do not be perplexed, Grasshopper.

All hail the greatest GOD of them ALL:

KOHARSKI, THE GOOD MOD, VOICE OF REASON, MAN OF THE PEOPLE

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

"I want my flippin' nuts on a plate, and make em salty biatch!"

Religion threads were all the rage when it was fashionable to read Dawkins and Hitchens. After The God Delusion went bestseller, the Internet was suddenly awash with scores of born-again atheists.
