|
|
Hello,
Anyone know a good doctor in Seoul, preferably Gangnam area, who treats infections? I got a deep cut on my toe that has been infected for a week, had one round of antibiotics which didn't help much. The doctor I saw didnt have great English, not sure he can help much.
Any help is much appreciated. |

Good idea to get that looked at. You may well need a surgical wash ifits been infected that long. |

I'm a doctor. In my medical opinion, we'll have to amputate if it's been over a few days. Probably for the best. |

As far as I know, all doctors treat infections.
Korea is absolutely jammed full of doctors. They're everywhere, on every street. In their clinics.
You wouldn't even need much language ability to get treated. Just show your arc card and point to your toe.
Alternatively you could do something called a google search for some wording like "English-speaking doctor in seoul" and then click on the numerous links that show up.
not trying to be smart, but...really. Use some basic initiative. |

Kimchi only works when the fans are all turned off and the windows are open. On top of that, you can only use the kimchi option in the first six hours.
OP listen, I hope I didn't scare you. Thing is, if we don't amputate below the knee, you could die. |

Go to the international clinic in Itaewon. He's good with most things and if isn't knowledgeable he'll send you to someone who is. I know there are posts on here knocking him (he's not cheap) but I've been seeing him for about 8 years now and he's always been helpful. |

I'd go see Dr. Choi at Asan Medical Center's International Clinic. She's great. |

He is not cheap. That is an understatement. He charges 3 times what other doctors do.

Yep. If you think language is going to be a problem use an on-line translator, print it out and they'll get the gist.
International clinics are a rip-off for the most part. |
