| Hello everyone, I've accepted a position at Maple Bear Pyeongchon and I'll be coming at the end of July. What's it like in Anyang? |

| Not sure where your apartment will be but the workplace is near Anyang Sports Complex. If you like hockey, Anyang Halla plays there. Lot of foreigners there usually. Right behind your work there is a stream with walking/bike path. In the immediate area there are only Korean marts. An open market is in a few minute walking distance. Homeplus and emart is a short bus/taxi ride away. Between the market and the sports complex there is a food street with good restaurants (korean) and plenty of places to drink. There are buses going straight to Gangnam Sadang Jamsil Sindorim. Or you can take one of the dozen different buses to Indeogwon stn which is just 5 stops away and from there 4 line will take you to the heart of Seoul in 30 minutes. For foreign food you should go to Beomgye. There is a Lotte Dep. Store, 2 other shopping malls, movie theater, another food street. |
