Verify you are in the right (get your balances in writing from the NPS, bank, etc.) then go to the labor board. Sorry you are going though this. |

That sucks, man. My sympathies.
I recommend that you dual track this ... which means that you negotiate at the same time that you assert your legal rights. This is not only a good idea, but doing both at once will make you feel more secure as you negotiate, and it will make you feel more optimistic as you file a claim.
One the one hand, be very nice to your boss and persistent in your requests for payment. This approach is as good as any:
