Usually when I hit edit, a delete option comes up or there is just an "x" by my post. Not seeing that now. So how do I delete a post??

You can't delete a post after there is another post after it in the thread. All you can do it edit it but that won't change the posts from other users.

Yes, and because of ttompatz's reply, you can't delete your post on this thread. I wouldn't have asked about deleting a post at all.

Yes. It is better to just not post.

Zyzyfer, do you realize that by responding to your post, I have now made your comment set in stone. The whole world will know your attitude towards not posting. How shameful!

Uh-oh. I think maybe he didn't know that the whole world would know that. Zyzyfer is actually a closet attention *beep*. - (that word rhymes with hoar.)
And by that expression, of course I mean that he desires attention from closets. Maybe he was comfortable with just closet attention.
Stain, you might be putting him in a spotlight that he wasn't prepared for.
Zyzyfer....fighting!!!

hmm...perhaps that isn't news though. But if it is...cool!
Should I thank you or Stain for this? I am prepared to give both of you the credit for this achievement. 2 of my favorite posters in the same thread where this all happened.
And to think, I almost didn't post at all.
You are an inspiration.
Cheers!

Hobbit, despite Zyzyfer and The Cosmic Hum making a mockery of your post, I believe that you should seek out the authorities on this site and have it removed. I would go for defamation of character. You innocently wanted to know how to delete a post and were attacked with sarcasm from a bunch of hooligans who know better. I, of course, gave you sincere advice about not posting a post that you ultimately would want deleted.

Quite right Stain. You are a scholar and a gentleman. A true beacon of virtue, which of course, comes as little surprise.
What is a bit of a surprise is to learn that you are an equestrian as well. Such versatility is to be commended. You are the epitome of the noble renaissance man.
But, please be careful when dismounting, no doubt it must be a bit dangerous from such heights.
Cheers

It's extremely dangerous, Cosmic. I sometimes have dizzy spells due to extreme thoughts about how right I am.. Of course, it is my horse's fault that I can't see from loftier heights.

Or is the horse wise and protecting him from himself?

To wax a page poetic
Is illusive and serene
A Stain becomes a masterpiece
Surreal, yet noble, lofty dream.

Be careful when we aim too high
The heights of Mount Olympus
As riders fall and riders fail
Though on the back of Pegasus.

Examples there are many
Of our ego tempting us
If we had wings and not restraint
Our fate could match poor Icarus.

That's good Cosmic. How about this..

My ego is a vacuum
I feed it what I can

It always wants more
more than I can stand

In my younger days
I fed it delusion

But as it got wiser
I got confusion.

My ego's not a fool
It wants something real

It sticks its nose up,
turns down ev'ry meal.

What's left to whip up
I guess it's humble pie

I'll eat it all myself
and let that bastard die!

Nicely done Stain...gotta say...I like it.
Noble renaissance man, indeed.
