So I will be staying in Korea for about 6 months. Do you know any prepaid sim cards that I could purchase? I've been researching online but I couldn't find much help...I have an Iphone 5 and my phone is already unlocked.

Thanks! Smile

You can buy one at a convenience store. Prime place to do so is right after you pick up your baggage at the airport and clear through customs.

Exit 1 at Gangnam station. Walk straight out of the exit until you get to the Olleh store (150 meters). 2nd floor you can get a prepaid SIM. It's 10,000 for the SIM then you can choose how many minutes and how much data you want. I think it's 20,000 for 2GB. And it's 250 per minute or text.

I probably spent about 35000 per month doing things that way. And when you need to top it up, any Olleh store will do.

Other option is kungfu a guy to death in a Hongdae club, fight off the bouncers (preferably killing them all), then steal one of their phones. Make sure you are wearing a ski mask and gloves. If you happen to be a harry man, shave all your hair off a few days before. Dispose of the clothes you wear in the Han River. Don't leave evidence. If you do it right, it won't cost you a dime. Then, learn Korean, and pretend to be one of your victims, stealing his identity, his girlfriend, his parents, and his bank accounts. Become Korean.
