Not on purpose, but, yes, I have.
More times than I care to mention.

Sometimes, especially the 1st. year I was here.
Had no idea where anything was so just picked a city with a few buses going to it and off I went.
Saw a lot of good(and not so good) stuff and got a very good geographical footing of Korea. |

Yup~ Took a bus one night from the subway back to campus when I was staying in Seoul. I figured all buses go roughly the same way and was after some adventure.
Only thing was, the campus (Kaist Graduate School of Management) was located near the pink-light district of Cheongnyagni. I soon realised I had gone way past the campus and decided to walk back. Getting lost never looked so pretty. |

Yep! Took the #1, and it left the city...about 2 miles later it finally stopped at another bus stop (which was a dead-end road in the country). The bus driver looked at us, and politely made it clear that it was the end of the ride.
So we got out, walked across the street and waited 10 minutes until it was time for him to turn around and head back into town. He saw us standing there, laughed and let us back on the bus for a free ride back to town.

Did the Magic Mystery Bus tour while studying at Carleton Ottawa. A fraternity would charter a bus and sell tickets to anyone interested in going. They wouldn't tell you where the bus was headed and there were a couple of kegs of beer in the back for the road.. 1st time I went we ended in some hick town 100km north of the gatineaus, 2nd time landed somewhere around Kingston. Done the MMBT a couple of times in the Philippines and lots in Korea. |
