well, if it was just your electric start not working, I'd say you'd need to change the battery. But if you are experiencing the same thing when you try to kick-start it, it sounds like a transmission problem. I think those are belt-driven. Maybe the belt slipped?

Take it in and have 'em look at it. Luckily, repairs on korean bikes are much cheaper.

Hi, im sorry to laugh but that's my buddys scooter you brought. take it to a bike shop and get it seen to, tell them to fix the starter button as well, it's annoying when you have to kick it all the time. Before mark sold you the scooter it started to do that, other than a starter problem its a good bike so if you take it to a shop and get it given the once over it should be fine.

When i bought my scooter, there were several electrical problems, rattling back brakes, and lights that were out.

I had the whole thing fixed in about 3 hours... was ready to choke on a big bill, but it was only like 55,000 won for all that work. This included replacing the brake cylinder/caliper with a refurbished one.

It works great now.

BTW... I get oil changed for like 5,000 won!

Wow... wasn't exactly quoting you a price, but I sure was close at only 2,000 won difference from my repair!

Glad you got it fixed!

Heed Derrek's word of warning; make sure you get your oil changed.

I have a 125cc scooter, didn't have a CLUE about any of the mechanics of how it worked, just knew that it did.

After 4000 happy kms, suddenly stopped one day. Dude at the store said I should have changed the oil every 500km.....
Cost 200,000 for a new engine (which was cheaper than I'd thought it'd be bt still more expensive than 6,000 won for an oil change))
