Does anyone have any info regarding the Canadian offshore schools in Korea - BC, Alberta, Manitoba?

Any info on what visa/documents are needed, typical contract conditions, working hours, duties, etc. is greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Documents will depend on what you are hired for:
E2 for language teacher, E7 for regular teacher.
Typically: authenticated degree, authenticated RCMP check, sealed transcripts and teacher cert. from the provincial teacher's college.

Duties, hours, vacations, pro-D, etc are about the same as home.
Wages are typically much better than EFL type jobs.

Thanks for the info!

I'm a little unclear about E2 and E7 visas:

If Canadian offshore schools are teaching Canadian curriculum and because of this, hiring Canadian licensed teachers, then shouldn't teachers have E7 visas, no matter what?

E2 visas are for private academies (hagwons) who don't necessarily need to hire licensed teachers because they're only teaching ESL.

So I'm a little confused about how these 'intl schools' can have E2 visas, unless of course, they're not legit institutions.

It is in the definition of the job the visa is issued for not the classification / legitimacy of the school.

E1 is a professor but a university lecturer of foreign languages can have an E2.

E2 is a foreign language instructor (private school, public school, university lecturer or hagwon).

E7 is "Designated activities" and that would include licensed teacher of subjects other than a foreign language as well as many other professions including managers (can also be D7), technical writers (not journalism) and researchers (can also be E3).
