If my school has an after school meeting and I'm asked/told to stay, will it count as overtime pay or not?

Meeting starts at 5:30pm (presumably runs until 6:30pm) so I'm basically staying an extra 2 hours after school (4:30 usual time for me to get off work).

Overtime pay is based on teaching hours...not just being at school.

What is the meeting for?

The school is providing a free benefit. Think of it as a TESL class.

Ask the school admin. Pretty straight forward.
