Wow! it was better than last time, much bigger turn out -my guess is somewhere between 40 & 50. The venue was much better, bigger & with more space to mingle. Great job gajackson & bobster!

Lets all sign in, who made it.

Suspiciously, captain underpants 0.2 didn't make it, maybe he had some skid marks Wink Unfortuneately I didn't see Anda either or for that matter Kimcheeking - what a partypooper.

Who I met, forgive me if I forget a name,
Lemon
gajackson
Rudyflyer
Bucheonbum & beautiful GF
denz & g.o.d (also beautiful)
mysteriousdeltarays (still as cryptic and enigmatic as ever)
crazylemongirl
jaderedux
Beckerson a.k.a (***) (welcome back to Korea)
Tigerbeer
Gangahjee
lawyertood
hyalucent
bobster
waterbaby
and others that I can't recall

There was talk of another gathering come summer maybe june/july along the han river on a Saturday afternoon. Soccer & b-ball plus a picnic sounds like lots of fun. It was real great to meet everyone...

looking forward to the next bash.

I was asked by my old homestay to do some extra work for them until 7pm, and they live in Songdo which is in southern Inchon. It would have taken me 2 hours to get to the gathering.

But perhaps next time. I'll even go out and buy another hockey jersey. Slap a big "C" on the front to make me the captain, the name "Obvious" on the back, and a "2.0" as the player number. Then everyone will be able to say they saw me.

had a great time last nite. major props to glen and bobster for organizing it. Next time make sure you buy them a drink.

It was great meeting everybody, waterbaby, glen, lawyer, crazylemongirl (the Lemon's sister??? Wink ), ody, mysterious, tigerbeer, beckerson, and everybody else whose names I forgot. I was nice to put faces to the names/handles

Wish I could of stayed later The G-spot seemed like an interesting place. An idea for the next time how about somebody reccommending a decent hotel near where the next party for those of us coming in from out of town will be so we don't have to worry about getting cabs after midnight

Anda, where were you? You were the most talked about person not there next to the Captian.

2. zyzyfer, girlofer, eamo

After minor navigation problems....I admitted before that I am a complete MORAN OR IS THAT MORON when it come to directions. But BF saves the day and calls the Stopwatch.

Was wonderful to put names to faces.....Really happy to meet The famous or infamous W. Beckerson, Lemon, Rudy, Rand, Bobster...and many others...oh and the lovely Blue flower...my BF really liked her um.....necklace... Laughing

Unfortunately I had to leave early...I live in THE BOONIES and just barely made it back before last stage coach.... Rolling Eyes

I really like the idea of a picnic would be fun for those with families and those who don't like the bar scene. And beings this is Korea drinking in public in the middle of the afternoon just ain't a problem.

BF comments as follows...

Jade: Sweetie did you have a good time?

BF: The boy teachers are very tall.

Jade: Um...yes some of them are.

BF: They talk really fast and are very social.

BF: They are so friendly ...they didn't know each before?

Jade: No not really.

BF: So you never met them before?

Jade: Well, no.

BF: And you just talk to them.

Jade: Yes.

BF: (sighs and smiles) You are lucky everyone just talks to everyone.

Jade: You didn't have good time?

BF: Yes I had good time everyone smiles so much.

BF: The girl with blue necklace was um...has...um.... she is very glamourous isn't she?

Jade: Rolling Eyes yes...she is.

I love that men are the same everywhere. There is a consistency to the universe after all!

Thank you all for being so kind and generous!

Thanks to The Bobster and gagjackson and the gee for organising the big gig. I'm sooooooo happy Razz I got to meet the Lemon Razz !!!

I had a brilliant time and it was a good fun putting faces to handles. No one looked how I imagined them to look... except maybe the very gorgeous g.o.d.

Ran into a bit of strife on the way home... the cab fare was waaaay more than I expected but the driver didn't seem to mind and kept driving. I tried to tell him that I lived NEAR Olympic Park... not AT Olympic Park and he insisted on taking me to the Olympic Park Hotel ... I was in such a good mood that I didn't care... I got out and walked & giggled home from there... about 30 minutes ... but it was FREEEEEZing. Brrrr.

I'll post some pics when hubby gets home and shows me how to download the pics. BTW - I think it's the back of my head in pic 3, over magog's shoulder talking to Tigerbeer.

Looking forward to the next bash...

Next one, I will be there.

BUT..I'm afraid to say who I am (might get beaten up by 40 people for 40 different reasons.

I'll just have to keep my lid shut so no one suspects my true identity...

Erm, what I was supposed to look like? Rounder and yellower?

BTW, g.o.d. is indeed striking. But once you meet Denz - who's a great fellow - it all makes sense. Smile

It's funny how some people might be concerned about differences of opinion and reactions from board adversaries at an event like this. However, I think it really can be summed up by saying that even though I (or others) may not agree with what you post I (we) have no qualms about sharing a pitcher or more of beer and laughs with you. We had a great turnout and a great time. Hope more of you can make it to the next one.

Was dancing the night away until 5........

Thanks to the organizers! You know who you are.

What happened after us out-of-towners had to go? I dragged girlofer and Blue Flower back, we barely caught the last subway, and I was standing most of the hour-long subway ride, so if I had stayed later, it would've been bad.

Sounds like an all-night shindig, then....-_-
