Allright.
So my honeybunny and I are having an argument about cell phones sold worldwide.
We both say that Nokia is number one but she is trying to tell me that worldwide Samsung is number 2 which i highly doubt.
her brother works at samsung in the hand phone division and this is what they are being told but I told her that they are lying to him.
Can somebody help me out with a link that shows what companies sold how many cell phones in the last year or so.

This puts them at number three 3Q 2003.
I heard they were number 2 during some month or defined period though.
Economic stats are so skewed. |

Are we talking units or dollar volume? Last I checked they were #3 for units and #2 for dollars.

It was the number sold.
My bet is Samsung will soon be 2 with them penetrating the Indian and Chinese markets.
Also LG to roar into the top 4 as well. |

nokia's got GSM....while i think both samsung and LG will increase their market share. i don't know if they can knock off nokia, but they should be improving on their numbers shipped.
i've never been a big nokia fan...
