In the few days this place has been down, I saw my first guy urinating in the street! Not exactly sure if he was drunk. Not quite as amusing as the guy who had to smoke while at a urinal (It was at the bathroom next to the board room cafe, Justagirl).

More amusing though the the trail of garbage that must have fallen off a truck. Guess it was too difficult to stop to pick any of it up.

*title changed by Lemon 1:55pm*

But I liked the old "Woohoo" title.

I saw a taxi driver and a bus driver get into a punchup (well, OK, a slapup), and the taxi driver sat down in the street, in front of the bus, refusing to move and holding up traffic for five minutes, until just about everybody started yelling at him to move it.

Fun times.

I hope some of you saw that there is life outside Dave's. Like the Simpsons episode when Itchy and Scratchy was cancelled?

I didn't crack but my roommate and I dusted off our game of Trival pursuit that we brought and some how (though I always lose) I won!

Maybe having no computer wasn't such a bad thing

Last night I was at a hof and my friend went to the toilet. When he got back he told me that when he walked in there was a guy standing there in front of the mirror with his shirt off flexing his muscles. He immediately turned red, put on his shirt and left.

the Gipper was the nickname of a Notre Dame football player, George Gipp, who played for Knute Rockne and died during the football season, from TB I believe. Reagan played him in the movie, Knute Rockne, All American (1940).

Quote:
Gipp tells his coach: "Some day, when things are tough, maybe you can ask the
boys to go in there and win just one for the Gipper." Later, the coach quotes
his player in a pep talk to his losing football team at halftime: "I'm going to tell
you something I've kept to myself for years. None of you ever knew George
Gipp. He was long before your time, but you all know what a tradition he is
at Notre Dame. And the last thing he said to me,'Rock,' he said, 'sometime
when the team is up against it and the breaks are beating the boys, tell them
to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Gipper. I don't know
where I'll be then, Rock,' he said, 'but I'll know about it, and I'll be happy."
