My sound is really crap, who knows why? When I move my mouse and the volume's up it makes a buzzy noise, when I watch a movie and I have to turn the volume up, it makes an awful background buzz etc etc.
Is it the speakers? The sound-card? Or the motherboard? Anyone care to venture a geuss? |

Could be any of the above. Try listening with headphones to rule out the speakers. Sounds like a grounding problem between the speakers and the sound card.
Really, it's hard to tell without actually seeing the machine. Good used soundcards (old SB Lives) can be had in Yongsan for 30,000w or less if you need such a thing, but you probably don't. Pay close attention to the speaker, and the speaker cord. |
