The trees smell. Awful. In Bundang, as they probably do elsewhere.

I'm no botanist, so for the life of my I don't know which tree's leaves emit such a foul odor, but it's gone from "male man-juice" smell to the overpowering rankness of "Dorito feet".

Please tell me I am not alone. You've smelled it too, right?

It's thi ginko trees- the ones with the leaves that turn yellow in fall. Botanically speaking they're a little bit lower on the evolutionary scale than the more common types of trees, and perhaps thats why they smell.

While the Ginko trees do give off such a pleasant odor during the fall, they can not be blamed for the lovely "man juice" smell that is permeating Bundang and many other areas throughout this great land. That honor goes to the Chinese Chestnut. Hopefully the smell will fade soon. I don't remember it being more than a few weeks last year.

Indeed. The area around E-Mart in Bundang smells like a mass orgy happened a couple of weeks ago and no one cleaned up.

I never been in an orgy. That would mean getting naked with guys. I'm too repressed for that.

And, I've never been invited!!! Laughing

I've smelled it. If it's from pollen then it's tree man juice, yuck.

I don't want to smell another man's juice.

It's hot, and the stank is starting to bake.

Not good times.

Wow...a tree that has profused unchanged for millions of years...I guess in a sense that would make it lower on the evolutionary scale, or it was just perfect to begin with, making it evolution-proof.

"No Evolution necessary! Just add water!"

Just about perspective, I guess. Wink
