|

I am considering re signing with my school on the condition I get a new apartment. I am gonna room up with a buddy at my school. They are gonna look for something, but most likely are gonna try to cut as many corners as possible.
They did say they would subsidize my living. BUT they said for 200k a person. I had someone contact my current building and our rooms are 400k each, with a 10 mil Key deposit. So basically I think they are tryin to bend me over.
Anyways, so im gonna play hardball, and let them in on the fact I know what they pay here.
What does a decent 2 BR apartment go for?
What are some good areas to look in within 15 or 20 mins of Omokgyo station?
How much should I be lookin at for Key Money?
How much do other schools subsidize for those finding there own apartments?
Where do you find a reliable Real Estate Agent?
Any help would be great...
Thanks everyone!

I had a very nice 2 bedroom in Itaewon for 500,000/month. The key money was 6 million.
YBM ELS offers 10 million key money.
Outside of Itaewon and Haebangchon, I thin you'll have a tough time fidning a real estate place that offers English service. Grab a Korean friend and stroll around the neighborhood looking for Pudongsans... you're bound to find one.
Good luck,

In Shinchon, 10 million key money and 400,000/month for rent should easily find you a 2 bedroom apartment in a villa-style apartment building. Like universalis said, grab a Korean friend and check out the neighborhood budongsans, you'll find something. |
