My friend is thinking of signing up for this school, anything he should know before doing so???!

The contract seems a little dodgy - paid only for the hours worked/ docked pay for lateness etc. . . hopefully things that can be negotiated.

Has anyone had experience of this particular school please?

Thank you.

Being paid only for the time you actually work

Not being paid because you come to work late (violating contract working hours)

Gee, someone seems a bit sensitive ...

What exactly is dodgy here ?

Yes, make sure that they negotiate that the teacher doesn't lose money if they are late and irresponsible to their schedule. And make sure that they negotiate that they are paid for hours not worked, in addition to worked. Rolling Eyes

My apologies to the OP if you were being tongue-in-cheek with saying that those conditions were dodgy and worthy of being negotiated. I can't tell if you were just joking or not. Confused

difficult to open one's mouth on this board without clever dicks getting pedantic and sticking in their 2p's worth.

Yes, of course you'd be mad to sign such a contract.
