Queen,
Ok, I guess the resident TKD Master shall chime in....
No worries on kids hitting you, or even sparring with you. I assume you're a chica (and foreign), and with that, the boys will be more scared of you than anything.
The only time I've seen a foreigner (ok, me) get their tail whooped, was sparring with highschool/univ. TKD players...you won't be doing that, so don't fret.
I don't have the time, but do a little search, I've posted (and Thomas) a lot of info. on how to find a proper school/club. I played/practiced TKD for 20 years (6 of which were in Korea) and have seen just about every type of learning environment.

Truth be told, I would love to find a good TKD school around here. TaeKyun would be really cool too! Have you tried it? |

No worries, I take them like the 'Hello' chorus....
As for TaekKyeon, yes, I've practiced it, and I'd suggest others do it as well.
