So yeah this is a bit of a specific one:

I'm looking to buy a Dedicated film scanner (a scanner that ONLY scans film negatives/slides - not a flatbed).

In the UK they cost about 1 MIL won. I've looked around Yongsan and asked questions but they don't seem to have an idea what I'm on about. Fair enough really as its for photographers.

Anyone know anything? Any help mucho appreciated!

Where did you look at Yongsan? I've seen them there.

Really?? Where? I must be blind. You do mean a FILM scanner right? About the size of a shoe box - you feed the negatives into the front of the box.

Where did you see these things? The geek-mart (cream coloured building with computer parts) or the blue building?

Thanks.

The film scanner is the one I mean.

I've seen them (if you refer to Lemon's guide)
I've seen them in Electroland and the main building (where the subway walkway comes in).

As well, I think (although don't quote me on this) I've seen them at the market off Chongno (forget the name of that bastard).

Now that I'm thinking. . .

I recall that it was an HP scanner and that it wasn't in a photography shop but at an HP dealer. Said HP dealer was in the main building (the subway one) on either the second or third floor midway down on the northwest quadrant.

The HP 9600 I believe will scan film negative~ along with other things. They're probably available at Carrefour.
