I keep getting returned mail in my hotmail folder from people I didn't send any mail to. What's going on? |

It's probably just a clever new spam mail pattern.
What's more worrying is that when I mail someone and it doesn't reach the destination I'll get a message back saying
"Sending to [email protected] failed,
message succesfully delivered to ........"
then a list of 10-15 korean email addresses that I've never heard of. |

Zed, I don't know either, but I subscribe to Hotmail too, and I get the same thing.

I don't recall this happening until about 3 months ago. |

It's some virus like Sobig.f -- reads address lists and sends out emails. |

What happens is when spammers send out emails, they use your address as return addresses.
So those bounced emails, use your address as the return to: address, hence all the reverse spam.
I hate spammers. I'm sure the feeling is quite universal around here.. :)
